Yes — sessions may be claimed under multiple codes. One example is Core Supports, provided this aligns with the participant’s NDIS plan and eligibility. Commonly used line items include:

If a child needs space or a break during the session, we will support them by adjusting the activity or offering the option to sit down and rest. With access to two separate playgrounds within the facility, we can also provide an opportunity for the participant to spend some time in a quieter space until they feel ready to rejoin the session.
Support workers or parents are welcome to assist in helping the participant settle before they return to the group. Following the session, we will communicate with the parent or guardian to ensure we are working together to support the participant’s ongoing needs.
In the event of a behavioural escalation, our Head Support staff member will oversee the situation to ensure the safety of both the participant and the group. If necessary, the participant’s nominated contact will be notified to discuss next steps, including review or collection. Throughout these situations, we will aim to ensure the session continues to run as smoothly as possible for the rest of the group.
-
All of our sessions are completely non-contact and focus on skills, teamwork and fun.
-
Our support workers/coaches are first-aid trained and will respond immediately. Parents will be contacted straight away, and incident reports are completed.

Yes! Support workers are welcome and encouraged to attend if this helps your child participate. We require that their details be provided via email to ensure safety and compliance.
If the child's support worker has changed, please also email play@kicktogether.org and provide updated details (WWC) 24 hours prior to the session.
-
Parents and guardians do not need to be present during sessions, as KickTogether coaches provide full supervision and support. However, you are welcome to stay and watch if your child feels more comfortable having you nearby, or if they require additional support.
